Quick PDF – Privacy Policy

Quick PDF is a mobile app that lets you scan pages with your camera or import from your photo library and export them as a PDF. Your scans and PDFs are processed on your device and stored locally unless you choose to share or back them up using your own services.

Personal Data

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or rent any personally identifiable information. We do not operate any backend servers that receive your images, PDFs, or metadata. All processing (crop, rotate, PDF generation) happens on your device.

What the App Stores

• Captured images and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device’s app storage.
• Lightweight settings (e.g., paper size, border preference, theme, PDF quality), and a flag indicating whether Pro is unlocked, are stored locally.

You can delete scans and PDFs at any time from within the app or by uninstalling the app (which removes all app data).

Permissions Used

• Camera: to capture pages.
• Photos/Media: to import images and to save/export PDFs to your device.
• Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING): required for in‑app purchases on Google Play.

These permissions are used solely for the stated features.

In‑App Purchases

The app offers an optional one‑time Pro upgrade (non‑consumable) to unlock adding more than 2 pages per scan. Purchases are processed by the respective app store (e.g., Google Play). We do not receive your payment details. We only receive the purchase status necessary to unlock Pro on your device.

Sharing & Printing

If you choose to share a PDF or image (e.g., via email, messaging, cloud drives) or print using system dialogs, the content is handed off to the chosen app or service using the operating system’s share/print sheets. We do not intercept or retain that content.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Your data remains on your device unless you choose to share it. Please use your device’s security features (e.g., passcode, biometrics) to protect your data.

International Transfers

We do not transfer your data to our servers. Any transfer occurs only when you choose to share content with third‑party apps/services under their respective privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
